23-year-old hip-hop artist Mista Kozmik plans to release a new song titled Sindingagwe that features Chikondi Wiseman, Gvstavo Gang, and Kal-El. The song has been produced by Big Jay and its video will soon be shot.

The song is about people like family and friends who are always there for one another when things are not well. The song also tells a story about people who are telling the world that they will never fall because they have people who are there no matter what is around them.

The song will be premiered on various radio stations in the country, will be available on streaming platforms like Spotify, and it’s also going to be on local websites for download.

Before this song, the artist released an EP titled Love and Emojis. This project has 5 songs titled Mwai Simbota, Sindingakwanitse, Bola Kale featuring Ainno Busy and Sacrey, Judas featuring Sacrey, and Pasavute featuring Dee Trice and Ken Matek.

The EP was recorded, mixed, and mastered at Audio 05 studio which is owned by Chawa Beats. The EP was received by the audience, and he also believes the new project will have the same impact. The artist has worked with other artists in the urban music industry like Ill Mind and Joe Kellz.

Asking the artist what he thinks must be done to make the Malawian music industry flourish, he responded, “People should start supporting our music by buying our songs, attending shows, and giving genuine feedback. Artists must show seriousness when it comes to making music. Finally, older people should not think that our music is trashy just because it is Hip-hop, Dancehall, or any other urban music genre. They must accept it just as any type of music they love listening to”.

Mista Kozmik started composing music during his secondary school days between the years 2013- 2016. He grew up listening to the likes of Lucius Banda, Gwamba, Skeffa Chimoto, Dan Lu, the late Martse, Hyphen (previously known as Young Kay), and Krazie G. He had his first studio session with a group of friends but started recording serious music in the year 2020. Since that year he has had several airplay on the local radio and TV stations.

Mista Kozmik whose real name is Stonard John Msiska resides in Mzuzu and has a Diploma in IT.
